Great community-focused cafe in the heart of Forest Gate. The daily special is usually delicious and the coffee, drinks and cakes are great. Features include stripped back walls and decor, a great back room with a private alcove, a lovely garden and yoga rooms upstairs.

This little cafe is a great find if you are a lover of delicious coffee, yummy bagels and cakes and super friendly service! It's tucked away along the station road between Wanstead Park and Forest Gate stations and is a calming oasis from the hustle and bustle of the main road. They also run curry and quiz nights and also occasionally have live music. A great place to visit if you are in the area.

Great little coffee shop, full of the arty types. During the day you can expect the yummy-mummies with their newborns, and on Saturday there's a farmers market outside. It has fresh bagels and does a limited brunch, but has great chill-out areas if you just looking for someone where read a book.
